HISTORY
Between history and legend, the traditional Thai massage Nuad Bo Rarn has its roots in ancient times, in the Far East. Legend has it that the initiator of the Thai massage is the Buddha's doctor friend and travel companion, Jivaka Kumar Bhacca, in Thailand known as Shivago Komarpaj. From contact with the different medical traditions of the people he met during his pilgrimages, Bhacca deepened his knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine, already in use in India for several centuries, and traditional Chinese medicine. With the knowledge acquired on herbs, minerals and medical disciplines, he developed the therapeutic technique on which traditional Thai medicine and massage are based.
TECHNIQUE
Thai massage is characterized by the execution of different types of manipulations, including pressure, stretching and stretching, which are associated with yoga techniques, so-called passive. As with many other types of oriental massage, the Thai massage also aims to benefit the whole person, not only physically but also mentally. In Thailand, Thai massage is usually considered part of traditional Thai medicine. Since massage implements specific maneuvers of muscle relaxation, we would like to point out to our kind Guests that it is not suitable for everyone: like any holistic treatment, we exclude people who do not reflect a current state of completely healthy health.
